We'll Always Love You

Damn not WhitWhit.  It's going to be another one of those moments when you remember where you were when someone died.  I can remember where I was when space shuttles exploded, Princess Diana died, Oklahoma City, when 9/11 happened, Katrina made landfall, MJ, Whitney and plenty of other events.  Despite all of the tragdies in her life she remain at the top of most people's list as one of the best singers that ever existed.  This morning I sat with my son listening to her past music and videos.  He had heard her music before but was still amazed at the range of her voice and the fact that I knew every single song that was being played.  I still get the chills when I here the Start Spangled Banner, Run to You, the entire Preacher's Wife and Bodyguard sountracks.  Hmmm, I guess I one.  can't just pick one.  She'll be deeply missed.

Peace, Love and Chocolate

  1. We are losing some of our major stars in the galaxy and it hurts to realize this is happening. I just hope that Whitney will be able to rest in peace while we mourn her transition.

  2. I echo your thoughts. As she said in an interview, she was her worst enemy. Fame can overtake a person and if they aren't strong enough. For all those people that tried to reach her, my heart goes out to them.

I love comments almost as much as I love chocolate, but less than I like shoes, purses and accessories.
